STATEMENT
OF PHILOSOPHY
At North Shore
Nursery School an atmosphere is provided where children can grow in
a relaxed and nurturing environment. An abundance of creative materials
and age-appropriate experiences are provided to foster cognitive as
well as social skills. Children learn to feel good about themselves,
to work and play with peers, to accept limits and to develop positive
attitudes toward the school experience.
Parent
education with respect to the needs, motivations and growth patterns
of children through conferences, programs, and guided participation
in the classroom is an integral part of the school.
